These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of fourlightsanalytics.com (the "Site"), operated by Four Lights Analytics LLC ("Four Lights Analytics," "we," "us"), an Illinois limited liability company. By using the Site, you agree to these Terms.

Our individual products — including Store Closure Watch (storeclosurewatch.com) and Dog Birthday Cake Finder (dogbirthdaycakefinder.com) — have their own product terms published on their own sites, which govern your use of those products and control in the event of a conflict with these Terms. These Terms cover the Site itself and apply to our products where product terms are silent.

2. Purchases, billing, and cancellation

Payments for our products are processed by Stripe on each product's site. Prices, billing cadence, trials, and renewal behavior are stated at checkout and on our Products & Pricing page. Cancellation and refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.

3. Data accuracy; no warranty

Our data products compile and analyze information from public sources. We apply verification processes we describe honestly, but we cannot and do not guarantee that any record is complete, current, or error-free. ALL SITE CONTENT AND PRODUCT DATA ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

4. No professional advice

Nothing we publish is legal, financial, investment, tax, or real estate advice. You are responsible for your own decisions and for independently verifying information before acting on it.

5. Intellectual property

The Site and our products — including their data compilations, software, text, and branding — are owned by Four Lights Analytics LLC or its licensors. Except as expressly permitted by a product subscription, you may not copy, resell, redistribute, or create derivative works from our content or data.

6. Acceptable use

• Don't attempt to disrupt, overload, or breach the Site.
• Don't misrepresent your identity or affiliation when contacting us or purchasing our products.
• Don't use the Site or our data to violate any law or the rights of others.

7. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FOUR LIGHTS ANALYTICS LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR OUR PRODUCTS. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE, OR ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100) IF YOU HAVE PAID US NOTHING.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Four Lights Analytics LLC from claims arising out of your misuse of the Site or our products or your violation of these Terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in Illinois have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
